During a political election campaign republican suppoters held a hunting party back in some woods that had included a sign that read 'Nigger Check Point'. This toon just wrote itself especially since the GOP at the time was fighting affirmative action. Even though I didn't inject the word NIGGER into the issue....by including it in the cartoon, that was the reason for it's rejection.
